Wasn't the one I was looking for though.
Waking up to propaganda from local paid journalists with the headline Chevrons molested by school boys. Here are the facts
1.Proteas had one teenager, Lhuhandre Pretorius… a breakout talent in SA.
It's not about their age dipshits. It's about their experience.
2. South Africa does not have backup players. It has depth, something which Zimbabwe Cricket has openly said it is trying to build. Without that,
Zimbabwe is forced to field the same players every match. SA players rested had come from SA20 to Champions Trophy to IPL to Test Championship.
This has been an issue for over a decade. Something you have had time to work on and fix, yet we are still in the same situation. You have been negligible in your leadership, and it shows. We have had many opportunities serve as warning signs to fix this, yet you have not done so.
3. Party favours, based on vibes, nepotism and club politics - The best performing domestic players were picked for their positions. Eg, Wessly is one of only four players to have three domestic hundreds this Logan Cup. The others are Craig, Ben and Nick.
No, the best performing players were not picked. Wessly has done well in Logan cup, but has shown time and again to struggle at the international Red ball game. Constantly selecting him is negligence, and shows a complete lack of understanding of the game.
4. Myers was called in is a backup under the concussion protocols which require specific like for like players to be on the bench. He only played because prince masvaure got sick. And if you can bat at 3 you can open.
The like for like makes sense. What does not make sense is the idea that if you can bat at 3, you can open. Both roles are very different. Many international players have shown that they cannot open, despite their position being number 3. This is alarming that someone running the sport thinks this way. Shows again that the game is being run by idiots.
5. Wessly Madhevere played two matches 3 years ago and was dropped rightly. He has only gotten back into the team now and deserves the same run as others. He made 87 on return and won the match against Bangladesh in April. Whether he grabs this opportunity is up to him.
He scored 24 and 19 in that match. He did not "win" the game. Give Bennett and Curran the credit for their opening partnership which laid the foundation for people like Wes to finish it off. He failed against Bangladesh, failed against England, and failed miserably in the 1st test against South Africa. I like him, but you are hurting his development.
6. Coaches have the types of bowlers they like. While Nyauchi is a player of value, the coaches felt he was a better option for this tour after the injury to Richard Ngarava. As for runs, his main job was the wickets.
No one expect bowlers to score big, but he failed to take the wickets he was brought in for. You have not justified his selection.
7. Brad Evans was the sixth best Logan cup pace bowler in the country, so you might want to look at the others ahead of him first. Jongwe was 9th best.
Jongwe is past it, so I will give you that, but Evans has International experience. It is not just about what number they are on the list. Again, your complete lack of understanding of the game is horrible. Evans provides experience and quality. Not to mention that he is handy with the bat, and can contribute runs when needed. Furthermore, Matigimu was brought into a role that could be considered an all-rounders role. If he is not contributing wickets or runs, then he is a failure
8. The coach said Zimbabwe were one pacer short for his bowling unit. So he had to drop one attacker to present another. Wellington’s ability to bowl unchanged for long while the others on the opposite change is valuable.
It should not just be about being able to bowl non stop, but be threatening. You are already going in with the mindset that you will be in the field all day. Bowlers should be looking to take wickets, or work in pairs to set up opportunities to take wickets. This tells me that our game plan is dumb as we have non. We expect the wickets to just happen, and the rest will take care of itself.
9. The Takashinga bias is laughable because Rangers had four. Wessly is from Gladiators, Kaitano, Rimuka.
It's not really. Within the bigger picture of ZC, Takashinga has a massive favouritism.
10. Local coaches are always part of the preps.
Not sure why this should be a thing. It shouldn't matter if they are local or not. However, what this tells me is that our local coaches are absolute shit. Invest in proper coaching development.
11. Of the 11 players, on 2 were under 27. Hardly call them schoolboys
It's not about age. They named 5 uncapped players in the side. When their captain dropped out, they didn't even call up a replacement. Their named strike bowler also did not play in the second test. They used their 4th choice captain for the 2nd test.
Tri series Zim, SA NZ

This is how I would respond to them. Hold them to account and keep the fires burning under their feet.

Mawoza is signing the petition himself?

Whatever the reason his name appears on the list, it is providing some useful fodder on Twitter.

Re: Tri series Zim, SA NZ
Rumour is circulating that Maru signed it. Either that's someone stirring the pot or he just feels he's got nothing to lose. That would be shit or bust time if he actually has, but I doubt it.
Re: Tri series Zim, SA NZ
So apparently Brad Evans doesnt have a central contract with ZC. Which explains a lot. But shocking nonetheless considering that just before his injury he was basically playing all formats. It would be interesting to see who is actually making the ZC list.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'
Re: Tri series Zim, SA NZ
So he's not employed by ZC after all, so that was a porky.
