117 runs...not a very big margin for a Test match. Pitch definitely seemed to ease out a bit.
First innings we threw 5 wickets away. 2 runouts plus Williams and Regis soft in the Second.

Opening partnership worked well enough. Bowling was decent.

Tough one gents, what failed us was the 1st innings batting, another 100 runs and the match situation would have changed. We certainly have the capability in the batting department its just the delivery - a lot of guys (in both innings) got out when they shouldn't have.

Yeah, we probably threw away a good chance at a win here with silly cricket. The bowlers were fine (219 all out - what better start could you ask for?), this match was lost in our first batting innings.

The afternoon of day 2 was the game, really. At least both departments weren't awful.

Still, I'm pretty optimistic about the next game
They've figured put Cremer. Exect WI to milk him for 230 runs. Forget Williams and Raza making an impression too.

If I was Streak I would ask for a bit of assistance for the seamers. WI likely to be a vulnerable as ZIM. But they have to pick both Shingi and Chatara then go for it with Jarvis.

Once again, you'll need Vusi against that kind of pace. He'll have to stop feigning injury to make commentary money though.

I think if you guys apply your minds you'll agree with me that the next Test will be a severe thrashing if nothing is done.

I note all the comments about ZIM batting mistakes, but I think Tue WI were even more carless an casual.

Unlike ZIM kings who are never dropped but have guaranteed spots, they have places to play for. I can see a heavy innings defeat or a big run /wicket crushing.

I wouldn't be against an unchanged XI - nobody was awful.

Waller? He's probably most at risk - could he be saved because he was absolutely sold up the river by Taylor?
Mpofu? No wickets but unless Chatara is available is there anyone better to replace him with?

Richie for regis,Moor for waller, tiripano/w.masakadza for williams(has to be done once to arrest his slump)and conceivably chatara for bobby are the changes i would hope.
