With that, Kaitano has now played the most deliveries for a Zimbabwean debutant at any position, going past David Houghton (396) and has even become the first Zimbabwean to play 400 deliveries on debut.

Yeah, sad end. Had he made it to tomorrow, he would have been successful in his mission for me. Ends up still not scoring a 100 across two digs, despite facing 413 deliveries. 5th most deliveries faced for any debutant opener in world cricket, and 8th most for any batting position.
