That Chibabha lbw call just brought reminded me of something.

ZIM are always getting atrocious calls. Well not always, sometimes they just get freakish calls (Gayle's lbw in the world cup where he went on to hit 200 odd is the perfect example). But here we see ZIM showing some spine and all of a sudden they get a pretty plumb lbw call in their favor. I think umpires are subconsciously affected by the performance of a side...I think they are more inclined to give the benefit of the doubt when they a perceive a side is competitive or putting up or can put up a decent fight.

I remember back in the day Bangladesh used to get horrible, inexplicable calls go against us. Now that only happens when we play against India, for obvious reasons, lol.

50 for Chamu. Great effort indeed. now he needs to carry on and make a big one plenty of time in the game.

the only way we can draw this game is we avoid the follow on.. hopefully these guys can bat until the nz seamers are tired then our middle order can get some runs.

Walter Chawaguta sounds like he knows his cricket in the commentary box.

He's actually talking today? (in work - have the stream on but it's on silent...)

Caught a session of his during the first test - he arrived, gave co-commentator Rainsford a choc-ice, then said pretty much nothing until his stint ended. Great work if you can get it... :D

Very impressive from Moor, not easy coming in on debut facing the likes of Southee, Bolt and Ish shodi

just tuned in.

Funny little dig by Streak, calling the new commentator Taibu (a story in itself) 'the shortest captain ever seen' and Rainsford took a lesser counter dig back at Taibus defence. Heard some muttering in the back about 'over sensitive'.

Taibu now sayinmg hes picking from the UK?
