Imagine Namibia getting as many opportunities as Zimbabwe, they would become a much better team even though I think if cricket becomes a mainstream sport there, it would go down Zim route as well bc the majority is black but there are only two black players in the whole squad. Cricket is pretty much a white sport in African countries
Wrong on so many levels lol.

For a start race is far less of a thorny/divisive issue in Namibia than it is in Zim. Not least because 8% of people in Namibia are white as opposed to less than 0.3% in Zimbabwe.

'Cricket is a white sport in African countries'?. It's now a black sport in Zimbabwe, in case you haven't noticed. Also pretty sure its majority black sport in each and every one of the other 18 African associate members, apart from St Helena obviously.

This idea of playing all the youngsters at the cost of losing the series is not something I am fan off ..like I said in the earlier post ..this looks like a reservation that if u r young u will play ..instead it should be merit based these guys should be pushing the older guys ..we saw how fluent ervine looked today ..we will have to agree that Taylor Williams raza ervine are different class as compared to other Zimbabwean players ..we certainlt need Taylor and muzarbani tomorrowb

Rajput is an idiot. Sean Williams saved ZC last week by making sure there is no way they give him a chance.

You don't teach players anything by making them lose 90% of the games. Get them in a winning environment and give their confidence a boost. You don't need to blood them in all at the same time. Marumani has failed like 10 times in a row now.. ridiculous
Absolutely, losing is never a good thing. This is just plain stupid. Myers and Madhevere are very talented youngsters, may be even Shumba but this losing environment is not going to do their confidence any good. Imagine how much they can learn with Taylor, Williams and Ervine batting with them.

I think a compromise is reasonable by bringing in Taylor for Marumani and Blessing for one of the other bowlers. I am not a fan of playing Raza (who had a dreadful last T20 series) and Williams (who's leaving anyway). Who do you drop for those 2...Wesley? Shumba? Myers? That's madness

Agreed with the above few posters about winning and picking your best side.

Also, who the fuck decided to bat Jongwe ahead of Burl today?!?! Coach is a knob

Burl has become more of a lower order slogger ( how different from someone who was thought as technically brilliant in the earlier days) I think the idea was to bring the equation down to 10-12 in the last 5 overs and then allow burl to have a go

Myers, Marumani, Madhevere deserve 25-30 T20Is before putting a call on them.
I'd be dropping at least Marumani, and possibly Myers, for the next game tbh. Unless we are happy to lose? Personally as an actual Zimbabwean fan I prefer it when Zimbabwe win games.
ZC in form of Masakadza was very much vocal of not including Raza & Taylor anymore in T20Is before the start of the Irish tour, decision taken was banking on youths in future for T20I format, with 2-1 down Zim is now under pressure of series loss, its now going to be matter to watch out wheather team management continue to rely on youths or change their minds like Williams retirement incident to save the series
