Did J.Campbell play today? Any prospect of seeing him in national kit?
No not today. I'm sure he'll get a chance in third 2nd or 3rd game. Will have to produce something very special to get on tour as both Raza and Burl are ahead of him.

He's on the fringes. Not far off. I think he will play for Zimbabwe one day.
Not sure that we will see Campbell in Zim colour, his batting is a better than his bowling but he needs some big scores at franchise level first. He struggles to get a game for the Rhinos at times.
Hasn't had a single figure score yet in 10 innings this season. You're right though - he needs a really big tonne or two next. I don't necessarily think we'll see him in Zim colours soon but certainly one day I think we will.

He's another along with Evans who would really benefit from an active 'A' team.

I was disappointed with Madande’s glovework today.

His positioning was wrong to Ngrava, was far to wide and it meant he struggled getting to a couple down leg side, which cost his side. A few runs.

He did sort it later on but didn’t seem too confident with the gloves.

I’m hoping it is just nerves as I’m really excited about his future.

Can’t say anything about his batting, got out to an absolute jaffer from Tiripano.
I agree - his keeping was really disappointing today. The positive is that he seemed to make adjustments through the innings and was in a better position towards the end. Shows he has a brain in him.

He’s got a long long long way to go and a lot to learn at this level, but I too am excited by him. He’s shown glimpses of real talent with both bat and gloves for Tuskers

What about Willo? He didn't play today.

If Willo's on his way out soon, which he very easily could be. Is Jono Campbell his replacement?
Not sure where Willo is. Hopefully this is not yet another issue with him testing positive or having to isolate or something.

Maybe Willo just sat out of this one to give someone else a game? He is a cert to tour so doesn’t need to be part of this ‘trial’. Although it would be good for him to get some games before the tour.

I think he will play next 2 to get some games under his belt before the tour. I’ll be concerned if he doesn’t play one but I’m not concerned for now.

The way ZC does not care about it's fan base might be because they actually do not think there are many people who actually care about the intricate details around the sport in the country. I mean they never say anything, everyone just has to guess or speculate about cricket events. Future tours, player statuses, squads, development of the game in the country etc.

That's not the reason. It's about accountability. When you are all powerful and confident in your ability to not be dislodged then you don't have to answer to anybody. When you've been doing it long enough with no repercussions it emboldens you to excess.

It's the people in charge that don't care about cricket. It's merely a means to an end. They'd much prefer to be doing something else, but the more lucrative spots have long since been taken.

So who opens with Chakhabva in Sri Lanka?

Ngarava bowling well. I don't see any reason to change the muzarabani/ngarava combination just yet.
Should ideally be the opening bowlers for a long time

Playing these matches in Bulawayo would have been ideal for Zim. As Bulawayo track is bit close to asian tracks with some assistance to spinners.

3-0 for new fully confident Sri Lankan Team.Addition of Mendis & Gunathilaka will make Sl more strong. These guys lacks quality to face Hasaranga & Maheesh Theekshana
