321 is always good, so well done boys! :6: :4:

Worrying how many chances we gave them though. I think there were at least 10 dropped catches. Genuinely one of the worst fielding displays I've ever seen, at any level. I've seen Under-14 Girls teams catch better than that!

ICC.tv is working here in Zim.

If not then I'd suggest a VPN and the Sky Sports Cricket youtube. :)

12 dropped chances, 322 looks good but against Pakistan and Afghanistan the boys gotta do way better than this coz those two teams will not drop or give easy runs and they can hell be sure about that. PNG conceded about 60 to 80 runs through misfielding and nothing of this sort will happen against sides like Pakistan and Afghanistan but hopefully this win, which seems like the forgone conclusion with that mammoth total, will up the morale and confidence of these kids. Chirwa seems like he has got some real potential with the bat, shocked that he was slotted very low down , the two lefties who were sent in before him did not look convincing with bat in hand at all.

I am not that impressed with Mitchell but maybe there is much more to this kid than what he showed today with the bat. The Bennett brothers looked good for as long as they batted.

Good innings from Bawa, hope he finds some form now.
That's a good stat to have- hundreds in 2 world cups, nice!
The Bennet lads looked good. Dave Bennet threw away the easiest hundred he's going to see for a while, played really well though, stands too upright for my liking. The 150 Pakistani may change that
I didn't get to see the openers unfortunately. Saul is a good player, trust me, he will be feeling really low about now. He's a good puller, he'd have plundered if he'd got himself in there.
Makoni went for a duck, I'd like to have seen him bat.
How is Chirwa at 9? He should be 6 or 7, that one he laced wide of long off was such a great shot, number 9's don't play those.
Mitchell doesn't seem have an offside game at all. Cross bats everything. I'm willing to bet his wagon wheels are 80% leg side.
We had 5 batters in that line up, then we get to the all-rounders. Welch must be injured, it's unlikely he's been dropped, despite not doing anything. We definitely need another batsman in that line up.
I'd be surprised if Makoni is better than Wolhuter, although he's made more runs than him so far so if you pick on that basis Makoni gets the nod, but Wolhuter is not bad and he can get after it.

Even at this level bowlers persist in bowling wicket to wicket, just stick it on 4th and 5th and bowl to an offside field and the runs will be hard to come by for most, especially the lesser batsmen. You get a guy with a bit of a glitch and you don't actually want him to go out.

Zvinoera is a real prospect, trust me. He's a leftie and bowls a heavy ball. He gets his radar right and he will take wickets.

They need 2 slips and Zvinoera needs to keep bowling across the right handers. It's annoying watching when people aren't thinking. He'd get 3 wickets in his first spell.

They always open with Bennet from the other end? Wheres Falao?

Only the one seamer again. Really would like to see us try and fit either Dube or Falao into the XI as well. Think we are limiting our options with only 1.
