It's nice to hear though that these boys are being looked at for investment purposes. Falao needs to be heavily looked after, as does Dube and both Bennets. Matty Welch I think has the potential to play for the national side in year's to come, but might need some more time in FC cricket.
Hmmm. I remain very doubtful about this.
Yea? Why's that

Brad Evans needs to rethink his position I think. Does be want to play for the national side or does he want to keep heading back to the UK each summer and play club cricket. There's a position there for him in the side at number 8
He wouldn't have gone anywhere if he'd been told to hang around. This season might be different.
He's secured a UK club though
Nobody would play club cricket if they had a shot at the national side, surely?

DB going to get himself out here unless he stops trying to bang it everywhere. There's noone else to come that can hang around.

That's why I'm saying he needs to make his mind up

He could be a very handy LO bowler and lower order batter

DB just needs to dig in, let his brother do the scoring.

1000 reasons. There will be plenty of good quotes from the few people involved who do actually care (Ewing and others) about looking after them and stuff but as usual the system is shit, the franchises are corrupt, and the administration is terrible.

Was speaking to somebody about Matty Welch sticking around and he said it depends, the politics of the franchise sides are ridiculous. There's a lot of dead wood knocking about

Well surely someone in authority would say to him- hang around, play some winter cricket, train hard and you'll be in the running. Why would they say nothing and let him go on a pointless club gig if he was being seriously considered?
Surely comms between the selectors/coaches and the guys under consideration should be better than that?

I'm on your level mate, they need to have dialogue with the bloke. He's clearly a talent and he absolutely has what it takes
