But who can fix the cause and how?
There are so many people with vested interest in cricket in Zimbabwe that are willing to put their hand up and do the work. The problem is that these people don't want to invest in all that work whilst the current board remains.

This current magnanimous sentiment of we don't care what colour our players are as long as we get results
I feel that this sentiment exists amongst the fans, even the local ones. They really don't care what colour the players are, as long as Zim are playing well and win. All the racist stuff stems from the board and certain individuals like Prosper.

My wishlist is a Board with credibility that attracts corporate sponsorship, that includes a couple of upstanding white guys that gives us comfort. They're not easy to find these days either
We don't want to take over, we want someone who will look after our interests as well. This political stuff has to end.
Trying to resurrect our cricket which everyone can now see is dead in the water requires buy-in from the white community. As unpalatable as that may be it's the truth.
We are joined at the hip, for better or for worse. We need white players to believe in the system.
Isn't this all our wish list. A board that actually gives a shit. I think there are a lot of white people still invested in the game and seeing it do well, they just have it thrive within their own community. As long as Mukhulani and Zanu are in charge of it, the white guys will stick to their own devices. Train their kids and get them to do well, then send them off to England or somewhere like that to study and use their sport to try and get a scholarship or something like that.

Too many whites holds unimagined terrors
Theres an amount beyond which people will start screaming invasion, I'm guessing it's half a dozen.
Give us a franchise and a club to manage. We will have some black guys involved at every level coz we're not c#%ts and we will win everything.

There were some pictures doing the rounds on social media of whites watching St John's rugby (more than half the team is black) and of some bars we frequent and the consensus was these whites are sneaking in from somewhere and something needs to be done about it.
We stoically deal with a lot of shit here. Smile and wave

Colour is the least of their problems right now when there is a threat to their very existence. Existential threat like Putin and co call it  they will do whatever it takes to survive. Money has always been the priority. Racial imbalances second. No other sports organisation in the country pays that well. Its just like how there are many issues at NGOs now. The money is just too good and people will do anything to get involved. The Namibia series was a serious wake up call.

A press conference about redemption with Gary Ballance is much better than losing those 20k a month salaries. This is a desperate situation. They will do anything.

There’s as much chance of them selecting me to play for the national team as there is them selecting Ballance

Some of the younger, non outwardly racist white guys - maybe there is a chance. But Ballance? No way!

Ballance hasn't played for a while. I'm sure people know what's going on, probably stems from that whole racial thing, he seems to have taken a hiatus, either enforced or voluntary. Everyone here is guilty of making racial jibes or innuendos. We all suck it up. It's the guys that will get mileage out of it that are the problem, and its always for self gain. I'm not excusing it, I'm just saying it exists.

It will be interesting to see if the intention is to import players and if so, who and when?
It will all be grapevine stuff, I don't see them running a double page advertisement on ESPN

We live in an outcomes based society. I would have 11 chinese guys if they had averages like donald bradman 😅😅
Welch would be a better look for houghton if he got him back rather than ballance. Things go wrong for Houghton u can just imagine the headlines 🙄🙄.
Ervine needs to go as captain. Make raza captain he is vocal at the very least and animated in the field.
When Williams comes back im sure he will make a difference.
