I'd surely have had all our national players split up amongst these two sides

Why did we pick such weak teams?

A(nother) reality check for ZC hopefully.
Which batters have we left out?
All the national guys should be playing.

With two teams and seemingly they are playing 13-per side then it should have been full strength and there would still have been space for the youngsters and a couple of guys they wanted to take a look at.

Not sure why we have about 10 guys sitting it out.

They should have sprinkled in some of the senior team players. This isn't good at all. A full strength domestic side is better than this.

Kaitano might have had the worst dip in form we have ever seen. 3 ducks in a row for him. 2 scores of 30 then 14 and a 10 in the last 3 months. The rest single digit scores. I don't know what is going on with him. I got no idea why he is playing.

Ya they're going to have to have an immediate squad change for the next games, this is bloody embarrassing.

I think ZC were hoping our franchise teams were comparable. I did warn you guys.

Curran will surely get a game. He's not out of his depth here.

Ridiculous to call these teams Northerns and Southerns - look at the names, for a start Ndlovu, Masuku playing for Northerns, and others seriously misplaced as well. Be more sense just to call them Zimbabwe XIs.
I’m glad it’s not just me!!! The boils my blood every year. Either rename the teams or pick them sensibly ffs so it means something.
Should be Eagles + Mountaineers playing for Northerns, and Tuskers + Rocks for Southerns, with Rhinos split between the two to fill the gaps.
Could be a genuine north-south rivalry if they did this properly and developed it each year.

Bas de Leede playing for durham? That’s cool, he always looks really good for the Dutch.

Well that's a Zanu thing to dilute the Southern threat.

Either way the teams aren't evenly balanced as well. The Southerns for me have a better team.
