Marumani trying to whip basically his first ball from middle to behind square? Just don't get that. He had to consolidate.
Isn't he a renowned Air head though?

So frustrating though isn't it.

From what i saw in the test matches I think Ben Curran is still a good option, but he looks scratchy as eff at the moment. I would love to see an opening combination of Nick Welch ans Brian Bennett in T20 cricket.

This is aimed at Googly; do you think Matty Welch will ever get an opportunity, or has he been earmarked as a no no? I remember Mutizwa getting shunned for years and he eventually stopped playing.

I think we've seen the limitations of Jono Campbell in terms of his technique. He could be a useful utility player in T20 cricket but long term ODI and test player I'm not sure about.

Darlington Matabanadzo is a seriously shocking commentator 😄 like having Jeremy Fredericks back on the mic.

Is Dean Du Plessis not around anymore??

But that's what i said about Campbell, unless he bowls we have better batting options. He's a good bowler too, and a good fielder. He knows his game and although unorthodox he has done well with the bat. He's had shit for luck so far in his international career. It's so important to get a couple of decent games under your belt early on or the pressure is horrible.

He doesn't play in the vee, but he's adapted his square game well. Also he goes hard at the ball. They should give him more opportunity.

Ya MW is young, plenty of time. Best stroke maker in our system. The not converting his good innings into hundreds has counted against him. When he's in he plays some high risk shots. He needs to think it thru a bit more.
Getting a shot has to coincide with the player being in form, a national player in bad form and then capitalising, a lot of moving parts there. He's without question our most promising young player. He should at least be in the national squad for training so they can take a look and make some adjustments.

I think it's obvious that they're avoiding the Welch bros for whatever their reasons.

With Raza gone we're probably not touching 230. Bowlers have a big job.
