Campbell Macmillan is a clean striker. He isn't the best batter in this side by any means, but atm Zimbabwe would do well to find a big hitter who could be a future prospect.

I don't know which of these guys will hang around, but if Macmillan does, then there is something for Zimbabwe to work with here.

Blimey. Namibia have been really poor in the field and with the ball. If it was us, ZC would be flying Mangongo in with a baseball bat.

That's a ridiculous chase by SA against Scotland. Wow.
What do they feed the South Africans? They all look twice the size of our guys :?

Sorry, this time I see the glass half empty.

Yes, the squad goes to next round but the performance today has been disappointing.

McMillen aside, batsmen lacked of courage: they kept accumulating dots upon dots, just enjoying Namibia's wides and making few attempts for singles.
Some of boundaries obtained through opposition misfieldings, never attempted to go for six.

I seems that u19 are weak on batting just like the senior squad.

When you have Newman knocking over the batters to set up a 3 an over chase you don't have to go nuts.

Restrict the opposition to 147 and then we chase it down without breaking sweat with 15 overs and 8 wickets spare and this guy is on the forum criticising the players because they 'didn't hit sixes' :?

Top cricket knowledge there :?

I try to esplain why you are off mark.

My point of view is that just because you have to chase 147 ONLY, it's the opportunity to take risks, to try something more than business as usual.
Trying more than usual builds self confidence in these boys.

Building up self confidence, especially in youth leagues, is beneficial when turning senior.

Am I wrong that somebody posted on this forum to hire a psychologist for the senior squad? 8-)
Instead of psychologists it's better to work on agonistic attitude of younger players.
