@ rupeni the complaint is not about changing players
its abt the selection of the changed players, shingi,
mawoyo, nyumbu is still doing the same thing over again
Mawoyo is deadwood iregardless of what you saw him do
Shingi will never make it on the international scene was
given changes & enough must be enough same goes for
mutombodzi, maruma, kaia, mshangwe , nyumbu this is rotation
of useless players. Aliseni, jongwe, nyauchi, mufudza,
chari, musakanda yes we will support them as they have
deserved it & myt bring something to the national
team since we are desperate but our frustation is
we need players who wilk compete for national colours
where is bruce, lake , mire, byrom has proved himself better
in county already, matigimu was clocking 140 in
bangladesh where is he. Those selected players have
been there before & they are nowhere near our national
team they cant outbat hami, ervine, williams, sibanda, chamu
so basically they cant offer shit & they are 50 year olds already
That Is our Frustration player selection & vision for the future

Well, for once they do have a strategy after all. Driven also by cost saving measures it seems; lets keep fingers crossed that the first match is not a horror show.

I don't think Bruce,Lake,Burl etc were available for selection.. I personally don't think this is a completely bad strategy giving some of these other guys a go..I'm sure 2 or 3 of them especially from the fast bowlers might put their hand up for selection.we can never know how good they are unless they are thrown into the deep end at least once. I think they missed the trick by not getting national players who lack experience like Madziva and PJ involved from the very beginning but clearly there are 2 camps here and the players have been separated.

And besides he is a real gem that you have at OH he was gunned at around 145 in 2011 before a back injury in 2013 saw him go into obscurity. It must also be noted he was part of the legendary Harare Sports Club side that dominated the 2011/12 club season. He has all the tools good height at least 1.9 , broad shoulders and a fit as my grannys 15 year old donkey and hits the deck hard with an evil short ball that i tasted this past weekend. He has been grossly underutilized and underestimated by OH who if they put him alongside Dipaz and Munyoro gosh goosebumps at that trio. He is one guy who has options and thus has not been active around the FC system as he is a trained and certified Apple Iphone technician and runs his own business. Dont underestimate that boy he is a true cricketer who can also handel the Bat . He most likely wont play as he has no list A or FC games but a real wild card a good addition and much needed competition .
You always come up with these random no name hot tip superstars, but they never eventuate to anything.

You just think he is bowling fireballs because he gave you a good bouncer.

If you gave me a hot tip at the horsetrack I would not listen.

What the hell is this?

Someone tell Taibu we are trying to pick an A-Squad not have a black picnic day out in the sun

We are here to win cricket games not show off our blackness. The Panthers are in America not here.

Mavuta is quite content in England but would love to have been home but better a solid 200 pound a week than a bottle of water at HSC. I think it would make sense to get most of the National side guys involved here well at least 4 or 5 guys to get some practice. The safe bet with the bowlers seems like Mupunga and Vitori will be lead the attack and sadly the poor Mushangwe will play. The intriguing prospect is having Bones Mufudza go up against Nyumbu which should be intriguing and exciting to see who gets the nod most likely Nyumbu based on his debut
I hope him and Williams have good health plans because they are made of glass.

I thought white people like drinking milk? Calcium!!

I know you have seen guys in the nets and may play with some and you are entitled to your own opinion which is your own. Player preference and selection is subjective and i believe in utilizing an eye and stats test of guys who i believe have talent. The current flaw in our selection is that we are afraid of taking chances on players and giving them exposure and thats why we have lost so many good players. Dutch Chikuni is a breath of fresh Air we have guys here who talk up mediocre talents like Ngarava, Musoko who i do not rate have the tools and composure to be serious threats to National Team players. The challenge right now is getting fringe potential lads serious job security there is the case of Callum Price who i serioulsy belive is the best swing bowler in zimbabwe even in his portly state he can out bowl Chatara Madziva and dare is ay even Jarvis. Let me see if i can come up with an out in the cold 11 of guys who could make provincial sides easily.
