don't remember the last time we took 10 wickets. good performance so far. Ngarava lost His way in the end but that can happen to anyone at the death. around 4 an over should be a comfortable chase if the right people open..no scoreboard pressure really so whoever opens should build a platform and not play any fancy shots which is what I fear will happen if PJ opens.

My prediction is that Burl will make 60 not out.

Zimbabwe at first needs minimum 125 runs in 25 overs loosing less wickets.

Zimbabwe have to bat keeping in mind the D/W method, if it rains, and wicket falls target could increase, they need to smash and score as many runs loosing less wickets before 25th over

Still can't help but think I'd feel a lot safer if Hami was opening the batting .....

If Moor does open though, it's a learning experience - it's a chance for him to improve his game. It's only Afghanistan, I mean Nathan Lyon could probably score runs opening against Afghanistan...

What I'm trying to say is an international quality batsman should not be troubled by having to open against Afghanistan.

Well done bowlers. Even ngarava who cut the head of the batting. I would rather 17 runs go astray than a blitzkrieg 100 off 40 balls from shaZad!! Lol

Not an insignificant sized crowd at HSC. Good to see for a Thursday against an associate.

Looked like a decent bowling and for once fielding effort. No confidence in Moor and Mire as our openers, middle order will likely have to do the heavy lifting.

Reason tells me that a Moor/Mire opening combo is extremely risky. On the other hand: How often have we scolded the selectors and coaches for their conservative and timid thinking? If one of them comes off, we'll be well under way. But of course that's a BIG IF.
