First 40 overs were mostly very very good. Shame the wheels have come off so much here. Can't see us getting anywhere even close to this target now.

We've imploded here. Need a death bowling academy in Zim. As a quick you have to learn a yorker and a wide yorker. Even a low full toss is hard to get away, it's a good ball actually. We've given away about 50 runs.

Zvinoera has been absolutely excellent since he came back on the field here.

Last 6 overs, 2 for 18.

And the seamers seem to lack decent slower balls. They've got promise though.

First 40 overs great, final 2 overs great. Just those 8 overs that killed us there. Ugh. Could have kept them to about 220-230. Frustrating, but hopefully the batters can give it a good go.

To be fair I think 230 would be too much. I watched these Afghans against Pakistan and they are honestly a world class bowling unit. Not u19 world class either. That was a damned good match despite the irritation of watching 22 over agers going at it. Pakistan have two very good batsmen- Qasim and that skinny leftie with a twitch.

I said it before- These Afghans don't sweep. Not one sweep shot that entire innings. Not one paddle, not one ramp shot. Highly unusual in the modern game. As young men of 25 you'd think some of them would have it in their repertoire. Kohli doesn't sweep either so it's not essential. It's a low percentage shot unless you are really good at them or unless u can catch them on the bounce.

I guess they didn’t watch Marillier and Ryan Campbell when they were in high school.

So this Noor Ahmad guy (claims to be 17, of course) has played in the Big Bash, the PSL and the Lanka Premier League.

No joke saying this attack is world-class.
