I've stopped believing in the speed guns. Every bowler seems 5kph slower than they look. Whatever model ICC are now using is giving a lower reading than before.
Perhaps. Taskin was clocking most 135 range in NZ last month, topping out at 140. Adding 5 puts him at his usual 140-145 pace. Ebadat was a yard quicker, averaging around 137-138, topping off in the very low 140s. Shoriful was bowling 125 on average and he's always been low 130s. So very likely the readings really are at -5.

But its not an ICC thing, its the host broadcaster who decides how exactly to display the speed reading. Some use average of 3 readings, and others might use the highest of 3.

Olivier has seriously regressed in pace. Such a shame. He was so explosive before he went to the UK. He bowled such a heavy ball and was capable of genuine pace. Very much a green seamer now. Nice to see Jansen taking wickets. This kid is the future

Brevis has just been bowling his leggies, not bad!
Looking forward to seeing him bat just now.

Proteas got hammered inside 3 days. India played rubbish cricket in SA specially the wayward batting costed the series. SA aren't a great force now.

Don't overstate it. This isn't SA's strongest team - Erwee, Hamza and Stuurman shouldn't be there.

NZ are world-class don't forget. A lot of teams would get battered there, including India last time they went....

Makes the Bangladesh result even more incredible though. Still can't believe that.

I watched Stuurman bowl and couldn't believe what I was seeing. How has he managed to play ahead of Ngidi..? Terrible selection. I've said it once and I'll say it again, Hamza isn't up to it.
Verreyne needs to start scoring some runs too. He's a gun, as is Markram, but they just aren't delivering at all.
The wicket had some serious pace in it but the class between these two sides was shown in the batting.

Ryan Rickelton should be given a shot sooner rather than later. I was getting him confused with Snyman I think it was? Rickleton is another rocket, along with Van Tonder. Not sold on Erwee. Would much rather see Pieter Malan opening. Rock solid

Truly remarkable performance. I think the lack of expectation gave them (BD) a rare chance to play with clarity. I hope they continue that in the future.
