Ok how is Muzhange Nyauchi and Aliseni's bowling in terms of pace compared to the quickest we have right now(Tiripano)?gargamel wrote:I know you have seen guys in the nets and may play with some and you are entitled to your own opinion which is your own. Player preference and selection is subjective and i believe in utilizing an eye and stats test of guys who i believe have talent. The current flaw in our selection is that we are afraid of taking chances on players and giving them exposure and thats why we have lost so many good players. Dutch Chikuni is a breath of fresh Air we have guys here who talk up mediocre talents like Ngarava, Musoko who i do not rate have the tools and composure to be serious threats to National Team players. The challenge right now is getting fringe potential lads serious job security there is the case of Callum Price who i serioulsy belive is the best swing bowler in zimbabwe even in his portly state he can out bowl Chatara Madziva and dare is ay even Jarvis. Let me see if i can come up with an out in the cold 11 of guys who could make provincial sides easily.watermelon wrote:
You always come up with these random no name hot tip superstars, but they never eventuate to anything. You just think he is bowling fireballs because he gave you a good bouncer. If you gave me a hot tip at the horsetrack I would not listen.

I think Nyauchi is as close if not slighly ahead of Donny T. Donny T has more expirience and has developed his armoury thanks to vast expirience in FC cricket. Aliseni and Muzhange are about the same Muzhange gets more bounce based on Height , Aliseni moves the ball essier but as both get fitter they will get quicker. The unity amougst the bowlers in encouraging as they compete daily and are pushing each other to improve and u can see it in their daily dedication and the weight loss

I actually know both and asked you this question to see how much you know. Aliseni and Muzhange the same??!! LMAO!!! I watched a net session and my gawd Aliseni is at least 3 yards quicker than Muzhange (i’m being diplomatic) and he gets more bounce (plus they're the same height!). One is a medium fast bowler who bowls outswing(125-132) and the other a genuine quick (the quickest we've had in a long time) who hits the deck. Nyauchi is quicker than Muzhange yet you say Muzhange and Aliseni are the same?? I don't know what you smoke Gargamel!!gargamel wrote:I think Nyauchi is as close if not slighly ahead of Donny T. I am tired of you guys wasting time talking about tokens like Aliseni. Time to shut down the Black Panthers club that has hijacked ZC. Give some of these young white guys a go.

Well if you count 6'1 and 6'5 as the same height then you're spot on. Aliseni isnt that quick. I think hes a good bowler but not that quick. Hes good on a length as he hits the deck very hard. Very strong guy. A bit overweight but id like to see him get a go on Saturday. Shingi Masakadza is an absolute toilet. Hes the Zanu PF of Zim Cricket. Thinks hes untouchable. Bowls spin at club level even when bowling at Craig Ervine.

Anyone who has attended a net session at Harare sports club can tell you what a beautiful sight it is when all the guys batting and bolwing are all African and black.watermelon wrote:I am tired of you guys wasting time talking about tokens like Aliseni. I don't know what the fuss is all about but I can re assure you that when I last attended a net session last week,it was very clear that Aliseni is unfit huffing and puffing bolwing at 125km/hr max and the rest are bolwing line and length similar to what panyangara does none threatening medium pacersFlakeman wrote:Well if you count 6'1 and 6'5 as the same height then you're spot on. Someone tell Taibu we are trying to pick an A-Squad not have a black picnic day out in the sun
We are here to win cricket games not show off our blackness. The Panthers are in America not here.

I am all about niggerfying the sport and the country, this is correct.
However I am also a realist, our best talent is produced in that milky white 1% hidden in the hills of Harare.
If we are honest, and we had every eligible Zimbabwean on deck, who would make the team that is black? I cant think of anyone who would make the first 11.
Lets balance the dream with the reality please.
