Burl has picked up less that 20 List A wickets in close to 60 games. Definition of a part time bowler. He wouldn't have made a difference here. He also averages 20 in ODIs . Don't remember seeing him open too. He is also somebody trying to find his feet in the game. I wouldn't say we miss him.

The body language from our guys is absolutely appalling.

It sounds really bad in me saying this but, I almost want us to fail in order for the team dynamic to change. With some of these tried and tested failures we aren’t moving anywhere
The problem is that the blame will be placed on the likes of BT and Raza and it will become a race thing again. Those who should be dropped and punished wont be and the structure at the top ensures that this well below sub par crap will continue.

I spoke about team dynamic, body language and structure many times before. It's basic professional stuff, but ZC is just not interested or bothered about that. SJB probably got hated on for making guys run for 5 minutes. They just wanted to come to training, play games of catch. Stand in the net and hit everything for six. Then go home and eat some Coke and buns.

I'd rather have him than Mutombodzi in the XI.

Burl is not a better bowler than Mutombodzi. Better batsman yes but with the ball that is not true. The stats don't lie.

Well it’s Burl being picked up for BPL deals for his all round skills not Mutombodzi

I actually think Mpofu might be our best bowler at the death. Our 2 injured guys leak runs at the end. Chatara especially.

How did he do there? He performed at the right time. Mavuta played in the Mzansi League, where is he today? Plus I'm pretty sure it was his batting ability that won them over. That's just how I see it anyway. I'm not a selector.

I was going to say, he gets picked in the PSL and is used mainly as a bowler. Mutomnodzi hasn’t been all that bad today, but he’s also the definition of a part time LOI bowler
