That was a long disheartening and embarassing day. Bones bowled OK, but he's more a containing bowler. He'll take wickets if there's pressure at the other end as well.

There are better options in the NPL.
If you can't bowl consistent line and length you'd better be bowling 145 to make up for it.
We've spread our bowling resources too thin between here and the Chigumbura holiday makers.

They need to find some seamers for the 50 over stuff or we're chasing 400 in those games as well.
It would be better to fly someone back or get Nyauchi or someone experienced in there.

I took a look at young Banks for Rangers today. He doesn't look bad. Still got some growing and filling out to do, but bowls tidily. Obviously didn't get anywhere near the u19 set up because that would require an unjaundiced eye to see he's got something about him. I'm not suggesting he should be anywhere near this side, but keep an eye on him, really nice smooth action.

We just cannot keep muddling along. Who's let Mangongo and Chigumbura get into a cock measuring competition? Surely we're too far gone to allow this nonsense.
