Don't take it out of context. Read it within context.

well that is then end of the first hour back in Test Cricket and it could not of gone any better after losing the toss as being put into bat. Both batsman look solid and are scoring a lot quicker than they did in the Australia "A" matches just through making sure that they put away the bad balls.

The ball is allready turning for Shakib so expect to see spin for most of the day particulay after lunch. Nice to see that Vusi has gone past his previous best and that Tino who we are all getting our first look at since the 2006 Bangladesh tour looking solid and is playing straight.

I'm worried. Our batting is making conditions look easy. As if the toss doesn't matter and bowling first would have given limited advantage. The Bangladesh seamers have been loose and we've cashed in so far. I hope we continue to cash in and make the most of it. They are really not looking like international level bowlers. Tamim & Ash will fancy their chances too.

I thought the context is (from your viewpoint) Jarvis is better (more suited) to the team than Meth. And what I highlight in red is your justification of this...dont think I have missed the context...but YOU say Meth is more "controlled" more "economical" and gets you WICKETS...but for all his infirior economy, he is an IMPACT bowler...why would I need an impact bowler when I have an equally prolific, more economical one??? Unless you mean Jarvis is an partnership breaker of somesort (which is all hearsay...didnt see it in the warm ups...nor is it evident in his stats)....still I am baffled...please explain...

Bangladesh set a defensive field and are now using spin-do they think this is an ODI?
Also-did you see Vusi's sweep shot? It has to be illegal to bat so stylishly...

I can't believe the run rate!
Zimbabwe RR 3.94
Last 10 ovs 48/0 RR 4.80
I don't think the bowling has been that bad, but as I said earlier the batsmen have been very sure about putting away any bad deliveries.

mawayo is really proving me wrong ! vusi shot was orgasmic shot of the match. great start here by the boys i cant explain how excited i am and how good it feels to see the lads playing test cricket !! im glad jarvis is playing but meth i would prefer because of his batting. but we will see i have faith in price at 8 he has the grudge and heart to make a decent score. lets not waste this great start. cumon zim

What I meant is you didn't read how that ties in with the rest of my comment. You are comparing different classes of bowlers. Think tait, lee & harris on one side, then think stuart clark, bollnger, & hilfy on the other.
