it's a shame they got nothing ... must be deflating! nice last over by Vitori - bit of pace and movement, looked good!

NZ 98/0 at lunch!

As expected, allround a toothless and abject display from our unqualified attack.

If McCullum wasn't playing for the security of his position in the team(Franklin, Watling Nicol, Van Wyk brething down his neck), and Guptil unsually circumspect, NZ should've been 120-150 wihout loss! Their fans will be compaining!

No hope in sight for us I'm afraid! What on earth were the selectors thinking! Read Taylor was excited about what they can doo on this track. Rubbish! This meddling coaching trio probably think they can just turn potential into greatness and earn the plaudits. Not a chance!

so, 132 for Jarvis and 134 for Vitori (that I saw) - what was shingi's quickest ball?

at least they are above 80 (it's minimum for yur openers)

Cremer may well have a lot of bowling to do.

  nothing by halves!! They were not entirely toothless, they creating a few half chances but this is not a good start at all. shame really but not entirely unexpected. hope they come out with their heads up at least...

Actually Vitori hit 137...but to be fair Shingi was concentrating on his line and length which he got spot on so no qualms from me there, but good to finally put some arguments to bed
1. Mawoyo 2. Duffin 3. Sibanda 4. Taylor 5. Masakadza 6. Williams 7. Chakabva 8. Creamer 9. Jarvis 10. Rainsford 11. Mpofu
