Zimbabwe also hold the No. 1, 11 and 15th topmost innings in ODI cricket history.
shame on cricinfo who showed Masakadza's score initially as 184*. For the past one hour i was ecstatic while driving as i thought that Hammie surpassed richards, sachin, hayden, dhoni, kirstein. But it was not be and his score was revised to 178 only.

I note also that Waller has been replaced in the scorecard by Coventry - although the CricInfo bulletin still mentions "Malcolm Waller contributed 19". Hope no-one's confused..

Oh yeah. I'm thinking the general tone of this match has been "How

Hooray to Masakadza. Williams and Chigumbura are probably the most talented and Brando Taylor is a huge contradiction, but I think Masakadza has by far the most aptitude.

The gentleman who made 19 only hit single boundary, so he has to be Covy. As simple as that

Very good article Conant but though i appreciate your praises of Hammie, i totally disagree with your thought that one day he will surpass
Andy Flower's test exploits. No way.

We are all fond of Andy Flower I know. But do you know it was Flower himself who anointed Masakadza?
Before Andy Flower the record was 266, by Dave Houghton. After that Flower’s is only 232. And that’s totally attainable, especially if you consider that lesser players like Mahela Jawardene has reached the 300s
