A few really good players there, but this will be our weakest U19 side yet. I'm not seeing any batters that I would consider 1-4 at this level. Ryan Murray as keeper/batsman could bat 3 or 4 but in a good side would be more comfortable at 6/7. I'm not sure who the latest coaches are but the last lot didn't think he was a good keeper (he's got the best hands in the game!!) so he may be picked as a batsman and off spinner. He's a very average offie, he's kept his whole life until these guys in their infinite wisdom gave the gloves to someone with 1% of his ability because they think Murray is too tall. He's the most talented schoolboy keeper I have ever seen, yet the ZC coaches think he's an offie?? We have problems!! I see they have finally included Huchu which would indicate that there's new management. He's gone to England, maybe they don't know this? I count 39 players in the squad, they've had numerous trials and games but they're still looking at 39 players? There may only be about 50 u19 players in total in the whole country so I feel sorry for the guys that were left out.

Jeremy Ives, Sean Snyder, Brendon Sly, Dean Peall, Ryan Murray, Adam Keefe, Jonathan Campbell, Carl Robinson, Michael Rossi, Mathew Conolly, Sean Hinmers, Matthew Macnab, Adrian Kock, Simon Taylor
There is an overconcentration of non-indegenous folk in this selection.

Your talent ratio will never pass the Kriterion required. Kindly review it.

We must watch those nine guys but what is their specialty? Specialist fielders like Malcolm?

NB: How does Keith Jaure make the original Zim squad to the Africa T20 Cup but not your shortlist?

What is an acceptable ratio for another round of extended trials, Rubber Mbava? 14/39 is only for trials don't forget. They wouldn't dream of picking the best team so you have nothing to worry about.

Although that was a bit of poetic licence on my part, that squad does constitute about a quarter of all the players so you can roll your eyes at that.

The whole black cricket nation vibe is not my thing pick guys on merit. This whole quota thing about indigenous players dosnt sit well with me its just another excuse to be darn racist. We as Zimbabweans cant run away from our past but being narrow minded and ignorant as you are brings are all back into the dark ages and it carries on with the youngsters and their clicks.

Taylor is a leggy a bit round and Tuby like Warne who is not afraid to toss it up goes for runs but a wicket taker at his level.
