He is the best in Zimbabwe

No. But he's doing well at the moment, and hopefully can carry this form into the world T20.

He's certainly got the talent to be. The real test will be against the better sides...even Afghanistan overcame him somewhat as the series wore on.

Yasir shah is the best leggie in the world..Shame that he got banned..anyways cremer has a looong way to go,but sure has got the potential to be one.

Certainly in T20 format Cremer looks worldclass. Has yet to dominate in tests, doesn't help that we never play any.

In the limited overs arena I don't think there's a better bowler no. James Murihead from Australia had the potential a couple of years ago but he fell by the way side.
Cremer actually flights the ball and gives it chance to turn unlike Badree and others.
Test matches; not there yet

The hard thing in judging any Zimbabwean is the lack of worldclass opposition. Could Cremer go into the SCG against Australia or Eden Park against New Zealand and still look worldclass?

Absolutely yes. In New Zealand the grounds are a lot smaller aren't they? Spinners tend to get pummeled over there, no matter who they are. NWZ is now a fortress, and a grave yard for spinners. The best of the best have been taken apart there in recent times.eugene wrote:The hard thing in judging any Zimbabwean is the lack of worldclass opposition. Australia I reckon he could do really well in because of the bounce; look at Nathan Lyon. Cremer has shown that he gets natural bounce and he gives it a real rip

T20 has actually brought leg spinning back to life unexpectedly, just look at the Big Bash so many Leggies doing well .....
Yasir Shah clearly number one but yes Cremer is making noise a big WC could put him on the map ......
