Here's the thread for our warm up matches. We are playing BD U19 today. Not too much of a hope really, let us see how this campaign goes.

We are 243-5 with 27 balls to go. 280 is minimum but 300 might be out of reach.

24-1 in the powerplay chasing 280+ is a great bowling effort. Zim will struggle to get much more than 150.

Superb run a ball maiden century from Murray in a losing chase. That will do his team mates the power of good to see that it's do-able.

What's the situation with Murray? Is he looking at Uni in the UK/SA?

So its those two guys Mashinge and Murray again. We really need to hold on to these two from this lot. Mashinge's returns at this stage look better than Jongwe / Madziva at this age. May be better than even Chigumbura at this age?

You don't get County offers as a Zim schoolboy, Tom.
I'm not sure what his plans are, if he has a really good WC he may consider taking a gap year and try to get a franchise slot, but I doubt it. He's more likely to go overseas and do a degree as he's extremely bright.
His older brother was a pinch hitting opener and was very good. He was overlooked every year by ZC and it was disfraceful as usual.

Thanks for the info Googly. Jumped the gun with the county offer there. What about the private schools in England like Byrom, Welch and Curran have done. Any offers from there before?
