Kudzai Maunze

Post by ljriley90 »

Hi guys hope are all doing well.

Just looking to pick your brains over Kudzai Maunze. I'm club captain of team in Manchester, England - Dukinfield C.C and our planned overseas guy for the season - a Sri Lankan, is yet to turn up after 3 games. We are getting to the end of our tether with this and saw an agent promoting Maunze near enough immediate availabiity, something we would be interested in as we need our overseas guy in the team.

Now some help from you guys, how good is Maunze? Just looking back at this stats for this yeas Logan Cup he averaged 34.00 and had 3 x 50's. It seems even though he is only averaging 20 at FC he's now starting to raise his average and play better cricket (as all young guys go through this transition averages get higher).

We can obviously offer Maunze different UK playing conditions but we'd like to get some assurances we will get some match performances in return too!!

We are keen as agent says he can get visa to travel like asap which is good. If anyone can let me know that would be grand.

Also if any other FC read this, or you know any genuinely gun batter with the stats to back it up who might fancy an immediate gig in UK do send me a private message and we can talk.

*Hope this kind of post i acceptable on here*

Thank, Lewis Riley - i'm on facebook too

Kudzi is a great lad who has got his game together. He has added power hitting to his game to his occupation at the crease game. A solid cricketer and and great team mate. He was one of the players that contributed to the 3 trophy sweep in the First Class system. If you need furher info like his number and more detail like videos and club stats inbox me and i will arrange you get them.

He's rubbish like everyone else in this country.

He will get found out against English spinners.

My advice is get Willams or If you are on a budget, sound out Pierre rinke.

I have worked with Maunze during my stint as the Zimbabwe Under 19 Team Performance Analyst. i would like to point that he is a player you can get performances out of. Solid cricketer with a good sense of direction and having seen him evolve at Rocks as well when i was Mash Eagles Team Manager he is one player, Kevin Curran (the late) always wanted in the Eagles dressing room. When a coach of KC's calibre shows interest in you surely there is something about you... Enough chat Maunze is a brilliant batsman and will get you good performance i will put my head on the block he will score big runs

Big 150 for Maunze to follow his 50 in the first dig.

Does anyone on the forum know why he'd only played 1 game this season so far after finishing with 3 x 50's last season?

Are the Eagles that strong? I see it's a similar case for Chirimuuta too.

The season has been a mess, player strikes, canceled games, poor weather and meaningless tours interrupting. The man himself just scored big in the match that is on atm so I guess he's in the form of his life ......
