Int'l cricket returs and the upcoming season has some Tests lined up as well. Though I've been following ZIM cricket, I'm not totally aware of the proper ODI lineup (also too many T20s being played due to the World T20). My first XI listed:

ODI Squad:

1) Raza
2) PJ Moor (+)
3) Hamilton
4) Ervine
5) Williams
6) Jongwe
7) Chigumbura
8) Cremer (*)
9) young specialist spinner
10) Panyangara
11) Chatara

I cant fault this lineup/logic.

Elton will have to be on his last legs though. Waller at the door.

Cant believe im saying this, but what about someone like Dabengwa at 8?

his spin wouldnt be worse than anyone else, and its another batter.

Too many allrounders in that line up, I would opt for one more speacilsit batsman may be Ryan Burl Regis Chakabva or i hate to say Sibanda

Yeah I forgot about Burl...if he can hit big, I'd drop Chigs for Burl even though Burl is a spinner...there are enough medium pace options to not need Chigs 2 overs every 10 games of dibbyl dobbly seam up.

Raza is probably lucky to be making the side at the moment.

You guys are boring, picking the same losers. This team is what I have been suggesting to the new panel:

PJ Moor (wkt)
Moor makes the team as he is the best keeper on African soil at the moment. His batting is not up to scratch yet, but he should open and forced to improve his batting and not given a free-ride down the order like so many of his kind.
Craig Ervine
Potentially the best opener we have ever produced. Has the right temperament and doesn't play careless shots like our black openers.
Sikandar Raza
He is Pakistani, we are playing India, he will show up for the fight. It takes a Muslim player to understand the mindset of other Muslim players to offset the potency of Faiz Fazal.
Sean Willams
Our best batsman, and our best spinner. Should probably be captain, but other factors help sway the captaincy in another direction.
Adam Keefe
Zimbabwe's most talented youngster. While we keep hearing the same old tired anecdotal stories about Welch, Curran, etc over in England, Keefe is the real star.
Malcolm Waller
An elegant stroke-maker who just gets a bit overwhelmed at times. Still has a bright future ahead of him.
Vusi Sibanda
A shot at redemption down the order for Vusi. One of our most talented players who has unfortunately been mentally scarred trying to protect white guys at the top of the order. Deserves an extended run in the team for a change.
Neville Madziva
Neville is our best bowler and could potentially be as good as Steyn and should make the IPL in the next 2 years.
Graeme Cremer (capt)
Glamour boy of Zimbabwean cricket and current captain. Bowling is ok, could probably make the team on his batting alone. Brings the crowds into HSC.
Tinashe Panyangara
Consistent. Class act. Trustworthy.
Richard Ngarava
Talented young-gun, ready to take over Rainsford's mantle as Zimbabwe's best bowler .

Notable omissions.
Hammy is fat and lazy and looks like a coke-can in the Zimbabwe red. Needs a boot-camp with Mangongo before being considered again.
Chigumbura is erratic and unpredictable, I have heard he may have issues with drug use - that would certainly explain his inconsistent form and mindless captaincy.
Chatara is nto what he used to be. His broken leg really screwed us over, needs to be punished on the sidelines and made to regain his form before waltzing back in to the red.

Whilst i would like to see some new faces in the team i am certain Adam Keefe can not make the squad because he has not played a single First class game or List A for any team how he makes your team i dont know.
Same goes for Ngarava he might be a future prospect for Zimbabwe as we desperately need aggressive fast fit bowlers and again by no means he makes the team he needs to prove himself atleast .
Raza i do not know why but i think he needs to sit the bench and carry some drinks the guy is a waste his batting has lost consistency.
Vusi Sibanda is another player who has to let it go.Time is up let it go Vusi
