Zimbabwe v New Zealand: 2nd Test
Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, 6-10 August 2016

Round 2. We can hope (dream?) that the match practice the team got in the first Test will help them actually put up more of a fight this time around. Official streaming on ozee.com (although they did miss a few sessions of the first Test, they had most of it...)

Dont be childish child.
Elsewhere i explained my decision.

Mutumbami comes in to allow possibly our best test batsman, Chakabva, to focus more on runs.

Williams is inconsistent and is getting over bronchitis. There is next to no chance he will repat the glory of last week. Im not saying that was a fluke, but the stars aligned for him.

With our batting reasonably strong at the moment, we cant keep everyone in th team. Unfortunately Williams and Chari miss out this time round.

Raza doesnt look himself and didnt perform test 1.

If Sean and Raza goes back to the domestic scene and makes runs i am happy to consider them down the track. It is highly possible that Vusi or someone will lose form.

LOL tormuz bhai is dropping Williams and Raza? Only 4 batsmen showed fight and he's dropping 2 of them. The "slight" underdogs would lose by a double innings inside 3 days (ZIM could bat 3 times and still won't cross NZ 500 for 4 declared).

They need to bring in Shingi...you need guys who can bowl faster than 125 and Shingi is a wicket taker.

Shingi ?

not actually a bad idea.

An absolute gamble. Maybe the single biggest selection gamble in Zimbabwean history. But tests are won on gambles when the the coinflip you choose comes up.

I endorse it.

Hami is out for the second test, and they have brought Nyumbu back to the squad. Looks like Mawoyo, PJ and Nyumbu will play the next match.
This could be the final XI:

Mawoyo
Chibabha
Craig
Williams
Raza
PJ(wk)
Masvaure
Cremer
Tiripano
Ncube
Nyumbu
