Best Test XI

What is your best Test team? Hopefully the SL Test series goes ahead. We're not going to get better by not playing...

1. T Mawoyo
2. C Chibhabha
3. H Masakadza
4. C Ervine
5. S Williams
6. S Raza
7. P Moor (wk)
8. G Cremer (c)
9. B Vitori / J Nyumbu
10. T Panyangara
11. T Chatara

Chibhabha's done enough to keep his spot.
On the back of one innings, Moor has shown he's worth sticking with.
It's a tight call between Raza and Chakabva. Raza still has a few credits in the bank but Chakabva is the next cab off the rank.

The bowling department needs to be gutted. Cremer is the only one of the current crop who ever looks threatening. Panyangara's control is sorely missed. Chatara is obviously our spearhead. In seaming conditions I'd get Vitori back too, he's got X factor and offers something a bit different.

Mawoyo
Chibhabha
Masvaure
Ervine
Williams
Moore
Waller
Cremer
Chisoro
Mumba
Aliseni

This team bats deep, right up to number 9.. Our opening bowlers are quick enough, probably the two quickest in our Logan Cup right now.. Chibhabha and Masvaure can tie up ends while Chisoro and Cremer are quality.. This attack can take 10 wickets in a game..

raza is not perfoming well to earn a spot in the team
hami's injury is the best that could have ever happened
to zim cricket. post injury chatara is a shitbag limps
in to bowl a 122 km ball no swing no extraordinary just
a reputation behind him. panyangara should just stay
injured he is 30 or so old anyway. prince is not & was
never good enough just had a lucky day when the team
crumbled & he stayed a bit longer could not even
bat better than tiripano a bowler in that match his bowling is shittier than shit. chinouya works hard but is talentless must be hard for him but
thats the truth, moor not tested yet.. williams, ervine, cremer
& tiripano to a lesser extent the only ones who have
a spot in the team for me its more test matches plus
more new blood aliseni, mupamba, bruce, lake, mire, diplock, matigimu
is the fastest we have he should be practising with the
national team

Unless you see guys across a sample size of 5-6 tests, maybe more if the guy has obvious talent, you can't really say anything. None of these guys even have that many caps to really tell.

So you can really only go on A team tour matches and Logan Cup performances.

Well, I agree with Eugene, but to fill out the XI atm I would have your team BRMT with the exception of Shingi for Vitori/Nyumbu if it is at Harare and Wellington if it is at Bulawayo. I think Vitori isn't getting picked because of the chucking.
