Leaving the forum

Post by ZIMFAN »

Dear Most,

I just want to say thank you for this being a great place to hang out and talk Zim cricket. But I have had enough. The STONEMANs, -watermelons of this world just don't float my boat. It was funny for about two seconds but the white/black thing is so fucking boring. I don't expect a great knashing of teeth. I rarely posted. But I've been around for nearly ten years and read it multiple times a day. But it is not worth it anymore. Every thread is basically the same. As I said, I am no champion poster or Dogg-esque character but if I'm getting pissed off I am sure others are too.

I hope this does not seem like self important grand standing. I could just have gone quietly. But I wanted the decent ones to know they were appreciated.

Thanks again and see you around.

. I've asked the admin to take me off a couple of times, but they don't. They allow these guys on the forum that lower the tone of the whole thing. If they managed the forum better we wouldn't have these wankers getting everyone's blood pressure heading completely in the wrong direction. Just calm down and re-evaluate in a while.
Admin you started a decent forum here and you need to manage it better.

+ 1

I have now, for the first time since I joined this forum, used the option to ignore certain posters, as outlined here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11651 It's a sad form of self-defence, however.

I hope this place survives anyhow.

You have been here for ten years and this is your 99th post?

That's one comment every four months.

Just toughen up a bit. We need you. The fight to the colonialists will rage on, we need your support for the indigenisation plight.

Hope you'll be back OP.

Speaking personally, I've found the forum very amusing the last few weeks.

This forum has many good traits but excitement isn't usually One Of them. The idiots spice it up a bit.

Racism is hated by all, but racial politics is hurting Zimbabwe Cricket.
Players should be selected on talent.

I have to say, I am perplexed that Maehara shafted hhm aka Bavuma Rabada but keeps the totally shallow and racist Stoneman and the inebriated Watermelon. You can't really claim in your defence, admin , that its because hhm's posts were too long. True they might have been, but its not like hhm rambled endless FULL CAPPED nonsense, like Stoneman or short meaning less rejoinders like Watermelon - hhm was the first to point us towards Tinashe Panyangara when we had long written him off in 2010/11.

Having said that, a few seemed to be rather amused by Watermelon at the beginning, never could understand why

Sorry to see you go ZIMFAN.

I hope you make it back when there is some cricket on and some more enjoyable ZCF times ahead.

I want to say again that the use of the ignore feature really does make a difference.

Would be sad to see you go mate. bayhaus has already left recently. These phases don't last long and the spammers will go as soon as we ignore them completely. Hope to see you back...

I find Watermelon funny and knowledgeable.. He does post some stuff to get underneath the softies skin but if you're sharp enough you'll all notice its good old banter.. Stoneman's account is run by 2 people.. One is a level headed person (the one who posted above) and the other is a troll..lmao.. But if you can't handle another person's opinion then you might as well go.. You'll find out that life is much tougher than ZCF opinions.. Goodbye softie
