Just read a artile on cnn.com that the whole country is is on a cash crisis, not just ZC. Apparently people can only withdraw limited amouts from their bank accounts. So even the ZC millionaires are in the same boat as the players, unless they keep all their money stuffed in a mattress at home.

But the players should train as long as they are not starving, which judging from the average BMI, they are not. Otherwise Sri Lanka is going to walk all over them in both formats.

When is the SL test series, btw.

So ZC are basically arranging tours when they have no ability to pay the players. Makes sense.

The story about contracts isn't about a lack of funds but the criteria that is being used to grade the player's contracts.. This would ensure that no one earns over 3500.. I don't know what Taibu is trying to achieve by setting such stringent conditions.. A cash crisis isn't a problem.. People can use plastic money..

The 3.5K contracts are what is financially Viable for a guaranteed 12 month contract and it is a reasonble and fair salary in our current economic climate and would help ZC finally deal with the financial burden that is crippling the team. There are match fees and allowances that are tax free that would be paid to add on top of the 3.5K in line with our busy schedule guys can make a living. The problem i have is that the contracted guys are busy clamering for support for provincial guys and guys with out contracts for support before evaporatying to enjoy their spoils which makes me quite upset at the momment.

Some of them were blamming Jarvis, Taylor for leaving Zimbabwe and play for county, here is the reason why they left, now by your logic, you may also say these players are not " patriotic ".

If situation worsens, some may quit Zimbabwe again, Rubbish Zanu pf are running the board, and destroying the game in Zimbabwe

this news makes my big deal the other day with selling collectables even sweeter.

cant wait to throw a couple of dollar bills at my shoes in front of the players and make them pick it up.
