In general terms, the bowling was usually fairly impressive, whilst the batting largely disappointing.
Chakabva excelled with the bat, averaging over 50. However, none of his regular top order partners managed any consistency at all, Nyamuzinga, Mujuru, Kasteni, Mawoyo & Duffin managed only 6 fifties between then in 50 innings. Cremer did show some promise as an allrounder, although he failed to get to fifty. Also, note diappointing returns from national team regulars Masakadza, Matsikenyeri & Chibhabha in their occasional appearances.
The bowling was generally far more encouraging. Cremer & Rainsford were superb, and must be in contention for the next international fixtures. A team regulars Garwe & Mahwire were also pretty good, and on some occasions quite threatening. Manyumwa's record is excellent, but is heavily boosted by one return of 5-29. His end of season efforts, and one day record suggest that his figures here may flatter him... Jury out.

A lot less cause for encouragement than in the first class games, Zim were generally outclassed. The batsmen managed a total of 6 fifties between them in 7 matches (and 2 of these were from national team regular Masakadza at the very start of the season), and no bowler managed to total 10 wickets. Whilst no batsmen can take much credit from the one day games, Cremer, Muzarabani and Kamungozi put in creditable, economical efforts with the ball.
