If you notice the posts after the interview, you'll see one from Sean Davies. I presume it's the same Sean Davies who played ODIs for Zimbabwe in the 90s then disappeared from the cricket scene whilst still in his mid-twenties. This is where we miss John Ward. He used to contribute to cricinfo with articles & interviews of players, not just the stars, so international readers could follow games with a greater insight. I'm loathe to say only Davies' mum knows what happened to his cricket career but I seem to recall he had back injury issues. Maybe that led to his disappearance.
Interesting to note Goodwin's reason for his international retirement. I suppose in some people's eyes Goodwin was just a hasbeen or a neverwas or just a turncoat.
