I believe this side can make 300 runs and take 20 wickets.. All our seamers are 135km/h+ which is what is needed at this level.. I took Tiripano out because his job is to take wickets not score 20s and 40s.. Masvaure can replace Malcolm if he fails in the 1st game and Nyauchi can replace any of the seamers.. Williams, Chamu and Waller will have to turn their arms a little bit during the game.

Zimbabwe ( Playing XI )
B.Chari
S.Raza
C.Ervine
T.Musakanda
S.Williams
M.Waller
P.Moor (wkb)
G.Cremer ( c)
T.Muzarbani
M.Chinouya
C.Mumba
### Zimbabwe needs some grass in the pitch, conditions should offer seam & swing to beat Sri lanka. As Sri Lankan spin department with De Silva, Parera, Sandikan, Herath is too strong, so pitches should'nt be slow or flat.
### Mathews, Chandimal is not there, Batting is inexperienced, they should be given green tracks. Sri Lankan Fast bowlers are less experienced in seaming condition,as they lost in England

Nyauchi and Masvuare should be near that squad . Nyauchi is due a debut best bowler in the country

how quick is Nyauchi bowling now @gargamel ? I definitely think he deserves a shot
Chari
Raza
Masakadza
Ervine
Waller
Williams
Moor
Cremer
Tiripano
Mumba
Mpofu
Musakanda and Mawoyo to come in for whoever flops in the first test.
Real shame Vitori decided against playing I think he would have been a better option than Tiripano as I agree that Test Cricket needs specialists and his job is to take wickets not to be a night watchman

faced him over the weekend bowled seven straight quicker than dony in my opnion. Looking at his stats the long format is his strength .Nyauchi is simply not liked by coach Ntini as they were involved in a scuffle when a certain net bowler called Ntini a confused cockroach which lit up Ntini who in turn beat the net bowler before Nyauchi stepped in and defended the bowler before alos being very vocal on the need of good long term contracts for emerging or high performance players

Good heavens! As it is we have such a small player base, and we have up and coming guys getting into trouble like this. This incident makes me feel even better about Nyauchi - standing up for what he believes in. Hope the incident doesn't take the love for the game away or something similar. Historically, we have examples of Sean Davies suffering from one or two odd incidents and turning his back on cricket in Zim forever...

Wouldn't it be great for Mumba / Musakanda to be come 100th Zimbabwe Test Cap on occasion of 100th test of Zimbabwe? Either of them would deserve it for sure!
That 100th man could even be Muzarabani though, hope that is not the case and we go for Mpofu, Mumba and Tiripano.

Confused cockroach??? I too would have beaten the hide off the youngster, if I had the physique for it.
