The build up to the final

Lets get in early to discuss Zim dont get many big games but we've had a few this past week and another on sunday. The guys seem to be doing better under presure or do they feel no presure cause they're under dogs?

As for team lineup surely 4 failures is enough to bench Chari? Not only is he not scoring runs he's also running team mates out and putting presure on his partners Chamu especially ......

Let Hami open and bring in another middle order player ....

Hami
Chamu
Ervine
Raza
Willy
Musakanda/Waller
Moor
Cremer
Donald
Chisoro
Mpofu

Hopefully the guys make a good account of them selves which they have struggled to do in big occasions .....

Might even be worth playing PJ @4 so he has time to build an innings. Could then play Waller @7 so he can come in and finish off the innings like he does in t20 matches .....

Agree with that team. I would prefer giving the first cap to Musakanda instead of playing Waller and playing Moor at 6 ahead of the debutant. He has nothing to lose. Big occasion and even if he does half decently, he'll have a huge confidence boost to the rest of his career. If he fails, nothing to worry, he took part in a final, experienced a crowd he had never experienced before. Win win either way.

We must drop Chari. It is getting beyond embarrassing for us and himself now.

Yeah it's hard to mount a case for Chari in the final. He's had a decent run of games now and only passed 20 once in the last 8 innings.

I'm torn on Musakanda/Waller. I like the idea of Musakanda getting a run, but he hasn't had any match time for quite a while so it might be like throwing him to the wolves.

I still think Moor opening could work. Even if he just makes 25, he would make them in quick time and get us off to a good start.

Some Changes required :

P.Masvaure

T.Musakanda

C.Ervine

S.Raza

S.Williams

P.Moor

Nathan Waller

T.Chisoro

G.Cremer

D.Tiripano

C.Mpofu

### Masvaure & Musakanda deserve chance as Chari & Chibhabha did nothing in the whole sereis

###H.Masakadza's cricket is over, Nathan Waller can add value with his allround skills

Moor can't play swing.. He's absolutely hopeless against the new ball, especially anything at +135km/h.. Let him bat at 5 were he can destroy the spinners.. Why would we want to change something that works??? People easily forget.. Remember how hopeless he looked in Bangladesh??

Changes are essential, it might be debut game for someone, if he scores it will be a great experience for him, delivering at the biggest stage.

Zimbabwe Top Order has complete failure throughout the sereis

I agree there,he perfectly fits wherever he is now,but the bangladesh series was some time back,2014 and he has come a long way since then, did a decent job against afghanisthan too on his comeback.but nonetheless those who have watched him open in this year's india series, would genuinely agree that he is not suitable for facing the new ball, but overall i guess he has put in the hard yards after that and looks to be slightly improved against pace.
