More cricket for the young brigade!

And based on the performances, this is clearly a very strong XI that has taken field today. Although the result won't be looking great...

What a big joke?

Players like R Murray,
W Madhevere, Richard Ngarva,
Milton Shumba who were the part of under 19 World Cup squad in Bangladesh still haven't got a contract to play top level franchise domestic cricket and are still playing Under 19 CSA Cubs Tournament whereas players like Shimron Hetmyer, Alizari Joseph, Sam Curran, Jack Burnham,Asitha Fernando, Lahiru Kumara, Rashid Khan who were also part of that under 19 world cup, of same age group are now representing their National Team and A sides.

Whereas Zimbabwe A are being represented by over 30s rubbish Sibanda, Chigumburra, Mpofus, Mowayo, even franchises found only 2 under 19s Mavuta & Masingwe fit for domestic cricket.

Clearly indicates, Zimbabwe Cricket are least interested in giving youths chance to play domestic cricket.

Stoneman,
When you post its very clear to me that the source of your frustration stems from the fact you dont realise these kids dont make themselves available for selection.

You really need to understand the history and listen when guys like Googly posts, when you understand this situation thats unique to Zimbbabwe, where the kids + kids parents refuse to play, you will understand.

ZC generally pick the best they can, bar one or two odd decisions.

Perhaps you could tell us precisely which matches these lads should be playing in then, particularly as there are no other current fixtures

Meanwhile these world beating Zim youngsters of yours have been soundly beaten, having been bowled out for a highly sub standard 122

These blokes wouldn't be eligible for junior cricket anymore, with the exception of Curran.

Titans Cubs 219-9 at the end of their 50 overs, Madhevere 3-31, Chesa 2-42, Schadendorf 1-21, Roche 1-32, Mazhawidza 1-38, the lads will need to bat far better than yesterday to get out of another defeat

Yup, the lads have been watching their elders very closely and learning how to play cricket the Zim way, 54-5 in the 19th and heading for another sound beating ......

Let's just update that, 110 all out and an even bigger tonking than the last game, well Mr Robot, are you still so certain that these kids are ready for the big boys?

Nothing special so far except for Madhevere's 8 wickets from 2 matches.
