Musakanda is sorely needed to shore up the batting. But why not both him and Burl, if he's fit?

What injury has Burl had...you usually don't see spinning all rounders having long lay offs.

Burl? A test place? No chance until he's back fit. Muzakanda all day

We might see a couple together against Sri Lanka ?

One would think Chisoro is the 2nd in line spinner so if we play 2 spinners in Sri Lanka he might debut ......

Musakanda will need to score well this Logan Cup season as he averages in the 20's still .....

Good call about the test being in SL and Chisoro being the obvious next test cap if that is how it goes. Unless ICC grants test status to AFG overnight and we play them at Harare before our SL tour. Very unlikely. Assuming we would play our next test in SL, we might play with one front line seamer and Hamilton as backup seamer, and have 3 spinners in Cremer (LBG), Chisoro (SLA) and Mufudza (OB). Two debutants there, and most probably Musakanda too. Not sure if Taibu / Streak would get that adventurous though.

I was thinking about Mufudza the other day as I think we need a good offie especially if we tour BD again due to them having 4 lefties in their top 5. Nyumbu is probably done and dusted so Mufudza is next in line but I thought I remembered someone saying his action is dodgy ??

Ive noticed the fans seem to jizz in their pants at all these off spinners that dont spin the ball much just place the ball accurately.

We havent had a good offie in forever.

The Ray Price kind of bowler, dead accurate but nothing else, just snt good enough in the modern game.

Anyone can bowl gentle off spinners and put it on the mark. We see players go from batsman to offspinners in this mould.

It used to be passable in ODI's, but thiose days are over with the big bats. Thats why Price was ineffective in his last season.

My suggestion is for Sri Lanka tour 4 spinners, Chisoro, Welly Masakadza, Creamer & Mufudza

I am surprised to see Jakiel only mustering 3 votes, what is wrong with this forum?
