Sikanda Raza just tweeted that two overseas players (i presume pakistanis) will play in the logan cup?
Any idea who they are, boggles the mind that we can afford them. I know many people on this forum will moan that this is restricting opportunities for local players but anything that raises the standards is a good move in my book.

Re: Pakistan First Class Players in the Logan Cup?
I am intrigued to left Armers both can bat. Worried that one last played FC in 2014. If they can push and bring along some players in which ever franchise that they are in it will help develop the players around them. It places a lot of pressure as they will be a lot of expectation on them to get banging from ball one. A good step of they can help raise the standard with wickets and runs. Considering we have a cupboard growing in left arm spinners have a Pakistani spinner can help gauge the quality of our left arm spinners.

That is fantastic news. I've always thought a few sub-continental imports would be a good addition to the Logan Cup to help better prepare our batsmen against spin... I'm definitely expecting Jalat Khan to be amongst the wickets.

ZC should invite any fringe players in other countries & Give them platform to play international cricket for Zimbabwe...brmtaylor.com admin wrote:That is fantastic news.
