5th ODI: Zimbabwe v Afghanistan

Post by CrimsonAvenger »

So, what do we think about the decider? Can we get over the line at least for once?

Win the toss and bowl first if there is a chance of DL coming into play...that was Afghanistan's first error in the last game. Not that it would have mattered the way they got thrashed.

A series win would be massive and as Googly said in another thread it's much needed. The players, coaches, admin and fans all need this .....

Zimbabwe don't have a very good record in deciders, I think the last time we won a decider was in 2013 v BD .....

We really should have won the last decider against Afghanistan where Naib and Khan stole it from us with some heroic batting .....

No point changing a winning team even though most of us still feel Moor shouldn't be opening ......

Idiotic batting by the Afghans cost them in the last game. They simply can't afford to be 15-3 after the 10th over again.

Well no excuse for losing this game. The batsmen will know what they are chasing - and we have the ascendency from the last few games.

Let's hope for another great bowling performance.
