Colin de Grandhomme third Zim-born player to get to IPL

Yes, big news today, Kolkata team have picked de Grandhomme as a replacement for Andre Russel. He becomes the third Zimbabwe born cricketer to get to IPL, after Taibu (also with Kolkata) and Price (with Mumbai). Not counting Taylor though, as he was bought in the auction by Hyderabad, but was never invited to join the squad in India.
Customary P.S.: I Hate IPL, but Zimbos getting paycheck is a good thing anyway

CdG has now played a couple of good knocks back to back with the bat according to the scorecards, quite a decent tournament so far.

Young kids in Zimbabwe will be watching the likes of Ballance and DeGrandhomme doing very well for themselves after leaving Zimbabwe early and thinking it might be wise for them to follow ......
