Why would we have thoughts on Jalat Khan? he's a 31 year old Pakistani who's only managed 227 wickets in 177 games over 13 years
With less talented players in Zimbabwe Jalat Khan can help in the national squad... Sometimes it's all heart & determination...

This isn't like the Pakistani at your local 7/11 who snuck in off the boat, he will need to be a player for at least 4 years in the Zimbabwean domestic scene. And from what I understand from talking to Raza, the government imposes an extra year or two to qualify on top of that.
If jalat is still dominating at 37 we can revisit the topic.
However, I'd rather focus energy on the annual blights comeback personally.

Sri Lankan tour will be another tough series. Herath, Sandikan, Perera made Aussies dance. Its toughest ask for Zimbabwe to do well in Sri Lanka, as the team is packed with club standard players and batting has been the biggest issue over last one year.
Jalat Khan is an average spinner, who didn't get chance to represent either Pakistan A or the national side, even his firat class stat looks average, but with his average skills he is making tough for Zimbabwe Batsman in Logan Cup and his third in the most wicket tally,clearly indicates worst temperment of Zimbabwe Batsman facing the spinners of Asian contingent

Jalat Khan has experience & has shown ability to pick wickets...
