When? Afghans are touring Bangladesh in March...is it before then?

I saw somebody saying Afghanistan are arriving on the 28th of January. So the tour will probably take 3 weeks max if its 3 ODIs and 5 T20s.

It's deep in the middle of the rainy season. Interesting to see what happens.

I'm hoping we start with the T20s so that Kaitano, Shumba and Wes can get a feel for the leg spinners before the Super League. Also to give the theory of a green pitch a try and maybe try out Chivanga to see what happens. It's time he gets a chance. Pure pace is an asset, especially on a pitch that's doing something.

Yes, apparently it should happen right after Afg - Net series ends. Still nothing official though, but likely to go ahead.

Obviously the Afghans are also looking at this series as a good opportunity to get crucial WSL points. Esp if they whitewash Netherlands then they are the team who have realistic chance of making the world cup directly.

Sounds unlikely - aren't half the Afghan players going to the PSL? Raza has gone to the BPL as well.

Won't be happening any time soon. I still think it's likely they combine it with the December 2022 Afghan tour. No point coming twice.

Not sure SZ, I don't have the reference but was going through some tweets which said the series will happen starting Jan end.

If not then we have to wait for the Ireland series to see senior Zimbabwe side in action again and from then on there should be more cricket lined up.

I have taken the WSL easy, no way a direct qualification is happening for Zim, so it's more about playing as much and preparing a good team for future events from here on. No need to stress over WSL points. I'll take any cricket.

I hope you are right mate. But it's very weird we've given Raza a NOC to play in the BPL, if we have important super league games at the same time?
