I still don't think all of it will be honoured and I can foresee a lot of the Tests, especially home ones, having to be cancelled.
In an industrialized country, I can easily see it costing that much. I'm sure the price includes things like leasing the venue on a pro rated basis.
As expected, fixtures confirmed; https://zimcricket.org/zimbabwe-to-host ... australia/secretzimbo wrote: ↑Fri Jul 08, 2022 2:01 pmIn summary:
T20WCQ: 11th-17th July
Bangladesh (3x ODI, 3x T20I): 30th July-10th August
India (3x ODI): 18th-22nd August
Australia (3x ODI): 28th August-3rd September
Potential T20WC: 16th October-13th November
Very tight turnaround between India at home and Australia away.
It would still be relatively expensive, unless its not broadcast at all, or just streamed on youtube. But I think that violates an ICC requirement for all matches between top 12 sides to be broadcast.
