SL are almost guaranteed to qualify directly. Only way is if WI beats England 5-0 which is NOT going to happen.

The teams could possibly be:

1) West Indies
2) Afghanistan
3) Zimbabwe
4) Ireland

Those are the guarantees. The top 4 Associates get in, and I'm not sure which ones that is but my guess is:

5) Scotland
6) Netherlands
7) UAE
8) PNG

Then the top 2 from World Cricket League Division 2 make up the last teams.

Nothing is Impossible, when Bangladesh can reach Champions Trophy Semis and World Cup Quarters due to rain.
lol you want UAE :D, they are at the bottom, with just 2 wins in 10 games, in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship. Even if they win their remaining last 4 games, still they can't make it to the top 4, to be the part of the qualifiers.

4 teams from 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship

2 teams from ICC World Cricket League Division Two which are Canada and Oman

Netherlands, PNG, Scotland are in good position they are probably through to the qualifiers. Fight for the 4th spot is between Hong Kong, Kenya & Nepal, as they are very close in points table.

UAE, no chance

WC quarters was certainly not due to rain. We had 6 points if you take the rained out match away from the AUS game...England still only had 4 points and were going home on the first BA flight out of Sydney. Not to mention we could have had 8 points and finished 3rd in the group in all likelihood if we had taken an lbw review against Guptill in the NZ game. NZ got lucky in that match. England were in very poor form at that tournament.

CT semis, yeah Bangladesh got a bit lucky. But, we had a must win game vs NZ which we won. And that was on one of the few pitches during the entire tournament where the ball was swinging around (at least Boult and Southee were making the ball talk). Australia had a must-win game vs England and they lost it. Not rain's fault there. We beat NZ, who were dominating the Aussies, so in fact BD, NZ, AUS all had an equal claim to the last semi-final spot. It just so happens that we got it. But it wasn't like Kenya progressing on the back of forfeitures in 2003.

Windies need to win all 5 games for SL to be in the qualifiers and that is not happening. They may win the series, but even that is highly unlikely.

I hope Nepal makes it. They are a side that just needs one big promotion like the Afghans and they will skyrocket. They have a lot of talent and passion and a huge fanbase.

Time will tell, Hong Kong & Kenya are also a descent side at that level

Decsions & Reviews are on the course of a match, some times it goes for and some times against. Getting Points divided that too again team like Aussies is like a booster.

In Champions Trophy 2017, Bangladesh was not a bit lucky but extremely lucky, as Aussies hardly played any proper game in CT 2017, all were rain affected, and aussies game against England was not only a must win game, but there was many odd even case, despite winning, so it was rain that affected Aussies and was a gain for Bangladesh.

No point of underestimating. Points table says it all, with just four games to go for each team. Looking at the table, Namibia & UAE have very less chance or no chance to be the part of the Qualifiers 2018
