We really need to get Kevin Arnott back, he would solve our opening woes and he is white so pariah would be happy.brmtaylor.com admin wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 2:59 pmFlashback to that iconic 1964 Test match: http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/1733 ... a-1964-65/
We better get Colin Bland in the team as well I suppose

Typical white Zimbo, hiding in the middle order even in an apartheid teambrmtaylor.com admin wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 2:59 pmFlashback to that iconic 1964 Test match: http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/1733 ... a-1964-65/

ZIM using a whole 9 batsmen against SA Inv XI and still just managing 173 runs in 64 overs at just 2.7rpo!
Finding space for Chamu, Mire, Burl and Moor but somehow feeling Vusi is not good enough to be in the Test XI.
What witchcraft is this?

The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

Vusi who averages less in international cricket than most of the guys in the SA squad would somehow perform better than they do? The stats suggest he would be at least as dismal, if not worse.

Sibanda, forced to open the batting to save the whites, when he was a "world class" middle order player.
Averaged a phenomenal 17.4 runs across formats, batting in the middle order. He was a better opener than he was a middle order bat. In 33 innings, only crossed 50 four times, with a highest of just 61.
In ODIs, averaged 18 with a strike rate of 61.
Pariah's select squad, if ever selected, would struggle to compete in WCL Division 2. Thank God, Streak, Taibu, and the Pakistani are in charge.
