Poll: Who are Zimbabwe's safest hands

In light of Masakadza's slip fielding and recent alacrity of Craig Ervine in and around the covers, and since this match looks gone already, I'm moved to ask:

Who is Zimbabwe's safest pair of hands?

1. Hamilton Masakadza

2. Sikandar Raza

3. Craig Ervine

4. Brendan Taylor

Edit: Will moderator please help me in editing this topic to a poll.

Good poll. It is tough to pick between Masakadza and Ervine for me. Masakadza did drop a couple of tough ones in this series but he is normally really safe (and good) at slips. Ervine has made the short leg his own of late. Even he dropped one I guess, but has caught very well overall. They are both safe hands while fielding in the outfield too.

As long as it is only safe catching, I'll put both of them at par and above all others. So, no vote for now.

Overall fielding, Raza edges them, but he has dropped sitters getting overexcited sometimes. Chigumbura was also one of the safest catchers in the outfield.

Tarisai Musakanda as the overall fielding package is something really exciting to look forward to, once he makes enough runs and gets back into the team.

Masakanda is a superb athlete, a fantastic rugby and hockey player, our version of AB. If he’d been in an SA environment growing up he’d be right out there.

What position was he playing, scrumhalf? Flyhalf

Personally I've always thought Masakadza had the safest pair even though till recently he fielded in the outfield and Taylor at slip. Clearly they missed a trick there.

In all the time i have watched cricket I havent seen Masakadza drop more than four. I'n fact until now, I had only ever seen one dropped catch in the outfield.

But recently I have been impressed by Craig Ervine's agility although I would say Sikandar Raza is our most agile.

Elton Chigumbura as Crimson says was also a good fielder; but I have seen from him some horrid misses to; as was Stuart Matsikenyere: could go from sublime to foolish in a bit.

Foolishly I voted Craig Ervine when I meant Masakadza. He might be left with no votes. 😂😂

Hamilton dropped two in the first test which was unlike him he’s a very good slipper, took some good catches in Sri Lanka

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Ervine drop a catch

Drop Waller & put Musakanda in the 7
7th hole...
Tired of Waller
