This is the side I’d go with for the 1st t20
Mire
Hami
BT
Raza
Waller
Moor
Cremer
Vitori
Chisoro
KJ
Chatara
For me I think having the extra bowler like Chisoro is worth more than having Ervine so I’ll back the batsman to put a score on. Cremer @7 if we crumble to stabilise and still have Vitori & Chisoro who can smack it around.
In saying this I think they might leave Burl & Vitori out of the 1st game since they’ve only just arrived in Dubai

Perfect line up! Definitely no Ervine. Let him practice for the ODIs while Waller will be cast aside after the T20s. Chisoro has an important role here. But everything will again depend on the start Mire can give us.

Re: Line up for the 1st t20
T20 Cricket is all about Surprise, and scoring runs by any means. T20 squad against Afghans should be
1) Solomon Mire
2) Tendai Chisoro
3) Hamilton Masakadza
4) Sikandar Raza
5)Peter Moor
6)Malcolm Waller
7) Brendan Taylor (wk)
8)Ryan Burl
9)Graeme Cremer
10)Kyle Jarvis
11) Tendai Chatara
Would prefer Chisoro, opening the batting with Mire, Left Right Combination, a 18 ball 30/40 would be great to boost the team. Afghans are certain will start the proceedings with spinners, it will be better to give Chisoro a license to go at them.
Early Wickets Taylor will go above, else hitters should be given chance first.Solomon Mire should bowl at the begining of the innings, atleast 2 to 3 overs will make it for Zimbabwe. He will get some assistance with cutters and seam movement at night

I don’t understand why you think Chisoro would make a good opener

Not talking about odis, neither test its the shortest format of the game, all required is runs, by any means, in four over power play, Chisoro can be given license to go after the bowling, he can hit the bowl hard, and could prove good for Zimbabwe.Lets, prominent batsman come later and dominate the game, taking the advantage of good start.
Hamilton Masakadza is one of the better t20 players in the world, let him bat at 3.
