SA U19 to tour Zim in June
According to this news, a new look SA U19 team will be playing 5 one dayers and 2 T20s at Harare from June 30th to July 13th. It is not clear as to who will face them though, Zim national team (highly unlikely) / Zim A or Zim U19. But good game time nevertheless.

Cant see it being anyone else other than our under 19 side. It will be intresting to see what uor next batch of under 19 cricketers will be like as Curren has stated that he wants at least two years working with the next sqaud for the world cup therfore on that basis it will be a sqaud full of players who will be eligiable for the next world cup.

Some more info here: http://allafrica.com/stories/201005210021.html
And it says Robin Brown is the U19 coach. When did he take over from Kevin Curran? Anyway Curran is busy with many assignments these days. What position does Curran officially hold with ZC?

Officially, he's head of the High Performance Centre (what was the Academy). What that involves day-in, day-out, I really don't know...CrimsonAvenger wrote:What position does Curran officially hold with ZC?

I've heard nothing more since the original announcement - beginning to wonder if it's even going ahead...dylan wrote:does any one no any results or has it started

Shame, would have been good for our new under 19's side to get some experience of facing the better sides.maehara wrote:I've heard nothing more since the original announcement - beginning to wonder if it's even going ahead...dylan wrote:does any one no any results or has it started
