Atleast he haven't disturbed national team squad through his useless performance. Should have been happiest if it was Chibhabha, Chigumbura,Waller or Zhuwao, bunch of seasonal failures destroying the future of some quality youth cricketers.
Zhuwao have been leading scorer in four day competition, haven't seen such an opener to get success who has got huge gap between bat & pad, blind hitter of the ball there is some serious lack of talents in bowling in Zimbabwe domestic cricket

Cephas must surely be aware of his shortcomings?
The problem is he can play like that here and get away with it a lot of the time. He will always be a pick for a franchise because he can win games, anywhere else he’d be facing stiffer bowling and there would be more batters to compete with.
Plus what is there really to play for? He’s unlikely to ever be centrally contracted and there aren’t that many games lined up if he was. He’s got a damned good eye but he’s not a Butler, Maxwell or Gayle so can’t really get away with too many failures because there’s a match winning innings around the corner. I really think he should be part of our T20 set up, if we had one. I’m a fan of his and he’s a victim of our system to some degree. As I said, if we’d had stiffer competition here he’d have had to tighten up.
There’s a lot of guys just killing time and waiting for better days. There’s a few other casualties around the corner as well.
Once again ZC are about to blunder and lose guys that should be remaining in our franchise system to make it stronger.
