This is tennis ball bounce again, really difficult pitch, ball holding up. If it dries out and they bat on a different deck we’re going to be even more embarrassed.
I seem to see on BBC "Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat", any further comment required?

These English/Irish decks are tough. You bowl length on stumps or just outside and the ball isn’t coming on it’s unbelievably difficult. You just have to wait for a bad ball and play in the V until the ball is a bit older and your eye is in. All the guys who’ve gotten out should know this. It can take 15-20 overs sometimes before ball stops dominating bat. We’re in Greenwash territory, game is almost over before it’s started.

Ya I agree, it’s often better to field first on these decks. Funnily enough our Zim pitches often have movement in the morning and it becomes a flattie after lunch.
These English batters often just put away the drive when it’s like this, it becomes a really low percentage shot. You have to be ruthless with yourself, never mind BT trying a pick up on a length on middle. That was a shot of a guy who’s nerves are shattered.

Hammy lucky to get away with that. Hit it straight ffs, how long u been playing cricket? He falls over a bit as well, and gets a bit bottom handed without enough weight transfer.

Hamilton always tries to hit his way out of trouble. Firstly his rotation is shit so he gets bogged down then he goes for a heave, he does it too often and does not do his immense talent justice, he’s still a good player, I don’t care what anyone says.

If Raza hits one in the air before they’ve got a 100 partnership he’s not serious. There’s another brilliant drive from Sean for no return.
